Computer Services Technician

Position Summary: Deploy and support all corporate technology hardware and generally applicable corporate software, and serve as a technology knowledge reference point.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately assess the source of technology problems experienced by CT Staff.
  • Implement technology solutions in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Proactively maintain communication with CT Staff about technology issues.
  • Manage the deployment of new computer equipment and the relocation of existing equipment.
  • Assist in supporting corporate servers and networks.
  • Proactively maintain and enhance the CT technology environment.

Non-essential Functions:

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:

  • Associate's degree
  • 1-2 years Desktop Support or IT Helpdesk experience
  • Strong interpersonal relational skills
  • Strong technology troubleshooting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and prioritize support requests
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac Desktop OS
  • Rapid self-learning skills

Qualifications Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Familiarity with Windows Server OS
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Server Applications
  • Familiarity with Networking concepts
