The Marketing Manager for the Today's Christian Woman team will work closely with the marketing, design and marketing operations teams to improve circulation strategy and site conversion. This role will include project management for key initiatives, product development and income/expense analysis. The ideal person will have an understanding of digital and print marketing strategy, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Education: Undergraduate degree required. (B.A. or B.S., marketing, journalism, and/or business administration preferred.)
Knowledge/Skills: Must have strong written and oral communications skills, excellent problem solving and analytics skills. Demonstrated proficiency with HTML, CSS, and XML. Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Access and Excel knowledge preferred. Must have knowledge of evangelical Protestant theology, church, and culture
Experience: 5+ years of editorial, web production or direct marketing work; preferable in online, magazine or book publishing. Database and HTML editing experience helpful
Circulation marketing experience preferred, especially knowledge of Sagent and Circ+ reporting software
Content marketing and editorial experience preferred, especially in the Christian marketplace
