Carol Stream, IL October 7, 2014 - Leadership Journal, the "pastor's magazine" published by the nonprofit ministry of Christianity Today, will unveil a bold redesign and unique ministry tools in its monthly digital and quarterly print journal in October.

Along with Leadership Journal's new look, it will include an easier reader experience with clean typography, smart imagery, and plenty of breathing room. The reinvented layout leads readers through content in an inviting and accessible way, and integrates more sidebars and infographics to give further context and background to articles.

Editor Marshall Shelley shares, "Our readers expect Leadership Journal to provide fresh insight and authentic, wise counsel on important ministry issues. Our redesign emerges from what we've heard from pastors and church leaders across the country. We've responded with four unique tools that answer their very real ministry needs."

The four new ministry tools include:

On the Ground
Real-life case studies that equip church leaders with discernment for the difficult situations that arise in any ministry.

Ideas that Work
Innovative practices that highlight churches creatively and effectively responding to needs.

Leadership Shorts
Executive book summaries that keep church leaders informed about new and noteworthy titles dealing with leadership and ministry.

My Calling
Stories from pastors about how their calling was received or tested—to inspire other leaders to persevere in ministry.

A sneak preview of the redesign is available with the released October digital issue. The print redesign will be available with the Fall 2014 print issue, mailing in mid-October.

Following the issue redesign, Leadership Journal will also revamp their website, LeadershipJournal.net, in early 2015 to include a new look and more helpful, reader-centric features.
